Hoisting Equipment Specialists (HES) was established in Sydney, Australia in 1982. Our company is focused on providing quality lifting products and customer service for Lifting, Lashing, Rigging, Materials Handling and Height Safety applications. Our extensive range has also been enhanced by the development of quality products under the OzBlok and OzMechanical brand names.

In 1997 Hoisting Equipment Specialists expanded into Victoria to provide better service for the southern states. By 2003 Schillings Hoisting Equipment (SHE) was established in South Australia.

In keeping with the Hoisting Equipment Specialists commitment to expansion we are pleased to announce the addition of Hoisting Equipment Specialists Western Australia which will distribute our extensive range of Lifting & Rigging products as well as some innovative new products.

During 1997 HES and other like minded companies formed The Global Lifting Group. The Group was established to enhance both our local and international capabilities and now has representation throughout Australia in Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney, Townsville and Wollongong and internationally in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.

Through The Global Lifting Group we have secured much sought after distributorships on a world wide basis. Our long standing partnerships with international manufacturers such as Bridon, Thiele, DSR and Excel are testament to The Global Lifting Groups commitment to supplying quality products and services.

Our extensive product rage from a background of long standing experience and technology, ensuring the supply of high quality products for industries including Construction and Engineering, Hire Offshore Oil & Gas, Mining, Crane and Entertainment.

HES is committed to supplying the most robust, safe and practical range of equipment needed to meet the demands of modern industry. Complimented with state of the art testing and manufacturing facilities, we can accommodate the most challenging industry requirements.

Comprehensive testing facilities are available at all locations giving us the ability to service agreements with large organizations. We have major contracts for inspection, servicing and certification of lifting, riggin and cranes throughout Australia.
